Wobi is a platform that offers insurance price comparisons across various sectors, helping users find the best, most personalized deal. As part of a major redesign of their website, app and overall brand identity, Wobi wanted to create an illustrated visual language to accompany their products and services across all touch points.

Wobi requested a brand character that could evoke a sense of relatability, and so Gil was born - a young, approachable character navigating every day insurance scenarios, like taking a mortgage, moving, dealing with a minor car accident and sharing joyful, loving moments with family.


The visual concept centers on simplicity to connect the platform to the everyday moments we all experience, many of which are also part of the insurance world. For this, we chose a clean, minimal illustration style, using a color palette based on the brand’s signature shades. The style features smooth, hand-drawn brushstrokes, combining warmth with clarity.
