Madrasa is a platform for learning spoken Arabic in community groups and online, dedicated to fostering connection, understanding and share language between Arab and Jewish communities in Israel. To celebrate the launch of Madrasa Kids, we created the art direction for an animated educational video that teaches basic Arabic words in a fun, accessible way.

The story follows two charming koalas who meet in a local supermarket and go on a playful, unexpected journey that leads to friendship and shared discovery. The visual concept was designed with a young audience in mind: expressive animal characters, a lively urban setting, soft color palettes, bold typography and a strong emphasis on warmth and openness. Beyond learning a new language, the video encourages empathy, curiosity and cultural connection from a young age.
